Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance

Welcome to Beaus Support Hub.

By accessing or using the Beaus Support Hub website, services or membership platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the platform.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Code of Conduct and any other policies published by Beaus Support Hub.

2. About Beaus Support Hub

Beaus Support Hub is an Australian membership-based platform designed to bring together:

  • NDIS Participants

  • Independent Support Workers

  • Support Coordinators

Our purpose is to create meaningful connections, provide valuable resources and foster a supportive professional community built on lived experience, professionalism and quality support.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Beaus Support Hub acts as a platform that facilitates introductions and provides membership services. We do not guarantee outcomes, employment or service availability.

3. Membership

Membership is available only after an application has been submitted and approved.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.

Beaus Support Hub reserves the right to:

  • approve or decline any application

  • request further information

  • suspend memberships

  • terminate memberships

  • place conditions on memberships

where considered necessary to protect members, maintain platform quality, comply with Australian law or uphold the values of Beaus Support Hub.

Memberships are personal and cannot be transferred without written approval.

4. Membership Categories

Membership categories may include:

  • Participant Membership

  • Support Worker Membership

  • Support Coordinator Membership

Additional membership types may be introduced in future.

Membership benefits vary depending on membership level and may change as the platform develops.

5. Membership Fees

Membership fees are payable in advance.

Unless required by Australian Consumer Law, membership fees are non-refundable.

Failure to pay membership fees may result in suspension or cancellation of membership.

Promotional pricing, including Founding Member offers, applies only in accordance with the specific promotion offered at the time of joining.

6. Member Responsibilities

All members agree to:

  • provide accurate information

  • keep personal details current

  • act honestly and professionally

  • communicate respectfully

  • comply with Australian laws

  • comply with relevant NDIS requirements

  • follow the Beaus Support Hub Code of Conduct

  • protect the privacy of other members

  • use the platform responsibly.

Members are responsible for maintaining the security of their login details.

7. Participant Responsibilities

Participants agree to:

  • provide accurate information regarding their support needs

  • treat workers and coordinators respectfully

  • maintain a safe environment for support delivery

  • notify Beaus of significant changes affecting their membership where relevant.

8. Support Worker Responsibilities

Independent Support Workers acknowledge they remain solely responsible for:

  • Worker Screening

  • First Aid qualifications

  • professional registrations

  • insurance

  • taxation

  • superannuation

  • maintaining all required qualifications

  • complying with all applicable legislation.

Membership of Beaus Support Hub does not create an employment relationship.

9. Support Coordinator Responsibilities

Support Coordinators remain responsible for:

  • their own professional practice

  • compliance with NDIS requirements

  • participant relationships

  • professional judgement

  • maintaining relevant qualifications.

10. Member Conduct

Members must not:

  • bully

  • harass

  • discriminate

  • intimidate

  • threaten

  • misuse confidential information

  • engage in fraud

  • upload unlawful or offensive material

  • misuse the platform.

Serious breaches may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination.

11. Matching and Introductions

Where Beaus Support Hub assists with introductions between members, these are provided in good faith.

We cannot guarantee:

  • successful matches

  • ongoing support relationships

  • participant compatibility

  • availability of workers

  • availability of coordinators.

Members remain responsible for decisions they make after introductions occur.

12. Membership Benefits

Membership benefits may include:

  • member networking

  • educational resources

  • templates

  • forms

  • professional resources

  • member communications

  • virtual meetings

  • webinars

  • member support

  • future mobile applications

  • future digital tools

  • future messaging systems

  • additional services introduced over time.

Benefits may change as Beaus Support Hub continues to develop.

13. Website Availability

While every effort is made to maintain continuous access to the website, interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades or unforeseen technical issues.

Beaus Support Hub does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

14. Privacy

Personal information is collected, stored and managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Members must also respect the privacy of all other members and must not misuse personal information obtained through the platform.

15. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content remains the property of Beaus Support Hub, including:

  • logos

  • branding

  • website design

  • graphics

  • documents

  • templates

  • educational material

  • forms

  • membership resources

  • software

  • future mobile applications

  • digital resources.

No material may be copied, reproduced or distributed without written permission.

16. Confidentiality

Members must treat confidential information obtained through the platform as confidential.

Information about participants, workers, coordinators or Beaus Support Hub must not be shared without lawful authority or consent.

17. Future Development

Members acknowledge that Beaus Support Hub is an evolving platform.

New features, services, communication systems, membership benefits, software, mobile applications and digital tools may be introduced over time.

Membership does not guarantee access to every future feature unless specifically stated.

18. Feedback and Suggestions

Members may provide ideas, suggestions and feedback to improve Beaus Support Hub.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Beaus Support Hub may use feedback to improve its services without compensation.

19. Suspension or Termination

Beaus Support Hub may suspend or terminate membership where:

  • these Terms are breached

  • membership fees remain unpaid

  • false information is provided

  • behaviour places other members at risk

  • behaviour damages the reputation of Beaus Support Hub

  • continued membership is considered inconsistent with the values or safe operation of the platform.

Termination does not affect any legal rights or obligations already accrued.

20. Disclaimer

Beaus Support Hub does not provide legal, medical, financial or professional advice.

Information made available through the platform is general in nature and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

Members should obtain independent advice where appropriate.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beaus Support Hub is not liable for:

  • disputes between members

  • decisions made by members

  • service quality delivered by independent members

  • cancelled services

  • missed appointments

  • loss of income

  • indirect or consequential loss

  • technical interruptions

  • inaccurate information supplied by members.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

22. Indemnity

Members agree to indemnify Beaus Support Hub against claims, losses, liabilities or expenses arising from:

  • their own conduct

  • breaches of these Terms

  • unlawful acts

  • negligent behaviour

  • inaccurate information provided to the platform.

23. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time.

Where significant changes are made, members will be notified through appropriate communication channels where reasonably practicable.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

 

24. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the State or Territory in which the dispute arises.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
